These terms govern your use of Gameoverse ("we," "us," "our site"), including our website, live stream chat, Discord bot, game release calendar, and built-in RPG feature. By using our site, you agree to these terms.

Using Our Site

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use our chat features.
• You're responsible for the content of any messages you post in chat, and for keeping access to your email account secure, since that's what signs you in.
• We may moderate, remove, or restrict access to chat messages or accounts that violate these terms or basic community standards (harassment, spam, illegal content, and similar).

Accounts

Signing in uses a one-time email link, with no password to create or manage. You're responsible for maintaining accurate account information and for all activity under your account.

Game Calendar & Third-Party Game Information

Our game release calendar aggregates publicly available information (release dates, screenshots, prices, and similar) from third-party sources, including RAWG, IGDB, IsThereAnyDeal, Steam, Xbox, Nintendo, and PlayStation. We do our best to keep this information accurate, but we don't guarantee its accuracy or completeness, and prices or release dates may change without notice on the actual storefronts. Purchase links take you to third-party stores; any purchase you make there is between you and that store, not us.

Big Screen & YouTube API Services

Our Big Screen feature embeds our own YouTube live stream and relays its public chat using the YouTube API Services. By using this feature, you're also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

Discord Bot

If you choose to link your Discord account, you're also subject to Discord's own Terms of Service for anything that happens on Discord itself. You can unlink your Discord account at any time from your Account page.

The RPG Feature

Our built-in idle RPG is provided for entertainment only. Any in-game currency, items, or progress have no real-world monetary value and can't be exchanged, sold, or transferred outside the site.

Disclaimer

Our site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the site will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent revision. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
